History of Pendigalli
The Goddess of Palaces
Pendigalli was created in the Earth-3.0 universe before the collapse of the Chronoverse. She was a meltsar created by Enlil along with her husband, Urash. Within the first year of them being created he impregnates her with their first daughter, Nani. Even though her husband had a specific mission on Earth, she was sent to serve with The Warden later on to help him imprison people with compassion before their death instead of them dying and being taken to Qur directly.
She is known as Belat Ekalli (Belet-ekalli) and was associated with palaces. Both her Sumerian and Akkadian name mean “lady of the palace.” Additionally, Ninegal was known as the goddess of prisons under the title of Nungal.
Manungal, Goddess of Prisons
In the times of the Sumerians and Mesopotamians Pendigalli would meet the guardian known as Birtum (The Warden), she would become a servant under him by the commands of her creator Enlil. However, she would fall in love with him and become known as his consort and wife. With him she would become the mother of Dullu, god of protection, religious work, and spears.
Her title as Nungal means “Great Princess”, her full name with the Ma- means “Mother Great Princess”, but her title of Bēlet-balāṭi means “Mistress of Life”. She had two sukkals that served under her which were Nindumgul, Lad of Mooring Pole, and Igalimma, good of doors and son of Urash.
