History of Fergus Vandershine
Youth and Murder Witness
Fergus Vandershine was born in the Transylvania universe after his older sister, Melanie Vandershine, was kicked out and never knew he had an older sister until the fateful meeting of the two came. He grew up in the lands of Scotland with his father, the local Baron who served under the vampire lord, Masef de Matthecourt. As the first born male, he was granted a lot of freedom, more freedom than was afforded to Melanie or Olga. He had the opportunity to train with the knights and play with the servants and tried to do the same with his youngest sister in her room so she could enjoy life.
His attempts to help his sister have fun did get him in trouble a few times but the blame was always placed on Olga by their father. This caused Fergus to have a hard time fully respecting his father as he knew something was wrong deep inside. This led to relief when he finally met his older sister who arrived at their home on Christmas and killed their father and her mother before his and his sister, Olga Vandershine’s, eyes. He was compelled by Melanie to forget in the moment and come with her. However, when they were turned into vampires the memories came back.
Fergus was only nine years old when he witnessed the murder of his parents and turned into a vampire within a month after that occurred. He became the new head of house as Baron Ferg and became distant from his sister as he felt she had freedom and no longer need his attention which caused him to turn into a playboy and spend his nights out on the town. However, his sister brought him in line and charged him with helping her in becoming the savior of children who faced abuse by parents and adults who they should be able to trust.
As a vampire he became known for running underground fight clubs that the nobility and aristocrats would fight in and compelling people for money as revenge for those who were wronged by the person that compensated him. He never took on a thrall and never was forced to but did like to tease and play with Olga’s thralls, which caused them to have their own conflicts.
The Necros
He was 464 years old, but looked eighteen years old, when the multiverse system known as the Chronoverse collapsed and was merged into the one universe known as Zetalon. He and his siblings landed on the planet Voluptas. He felt a sense of fear in the new universe and like he lost everything he had. However, that was short lived when his sister tasked him with infiltrating The Necros and take control.
As he completed his tasks, he murdered Crusandra, leader of the Necros, and fell in love with a woman named Rebecca Bennett. As The Bishop to his sister’s Armory he led the Necros towards a worship of Tawana that was aligned with the will of his sister Madame Mel.
As The Bishop he was more dispensable than The Rook in, Madame Mel’s eyes but was allowed to operate from a distance. The influence of his new love caused him to distance himself from his sisters too.
The influence grew even greater when she gave birth to their daughter Lenora Vandershine. However, it created conflict since the daughter was a half blood and he needed his sister, Madame Mel’s, advice to try to make his baby a full blood born vampire so it would have a better life once born. Thus, under the guidance of his sister he turned Rebecca into a vampire.
