History of Moira Hayes
A Tale of Self Sacrifice
Moira Hayes was born on the planet of Earth-3.13 in Transylvania before the collapse of the Chronoverse. She grew up in the lands of Scotland as the child of siblings, Cephas and Adelina Hayes. As she grew up she was known as the long legged beauty. Moira was known for participating in swimming along with her brother Teàrlach and would gain the attention of all the boys and men.
However, she still was a political chip for her father to play when he wanted to for making partnerships. Nonetheless, she was her mother’s daughter and had a fiery spirit that made her challenge her father’s choices for her very frequently. One of which was rejecting the marriage arrangement her father had organized for her. The next being going behind their backs to make a deal with a Vampire Lord to save her family and their business.
After the death of their grandmother their family businesses began to fall apart which placed House Hayes in jeopardy of becoming bankrupt and homeless. However, Moira grew up around Fergus who was helping them get out of their hole until her father broke their deal in an effort to appease the nobles of Portugal, a choice that did more harm than good for their businesses.
Moira would make the ultimate sacrifice and go to Fergus and Lady Mel to make a deal. She offered herself up in exchange for their help in saving her family. Lady Mel accepted the offer and told her she would wed Fergus and would become a thrall. Something Moira agreed to and accepted the outcome that would come from her choice so she could save her family.
The Abducted Mother
Moira Hayes became Moira Vandershine and on April 10, 5919 AD, she was abducted in a joint plot between The Hive and surviving members of House Nunes. What she didn’t know at the time was that she was pregnant with her and Fergus’ child. Nine months after the abduction Doroteia was born while they were in captivity.
During their captivity she tried to protect their daughter as much as possible and taught her what she had learned about being a vampire. She would tell her stories of her father, and her aunts to help her feel connected to them as she grew up. However, she feared for the worse since the Saudi Cabal who participated in her kidnapping were known for gruesome acts against werewolves and vampires.
When her daughter was seven years old their universe began to collapse into Zetalon and sadly Doroteia was brought into the new universe while Moira was stuck in the old as it broke apart and collapsed along with all of the other universes.
