However, as time went on, a mysterious storage jar was left in the gardens that she would stumble upon. History of Fandorah

The Peace Offering

Fandorah was crafted in the Mātušarrūtu universe before the collapse of the Chronoverse. In the times when the Meltsar were being created and the times of the wars between Yadabaq and Yahayah there was a need for a truce to be made. The Seven Who Judge, led by Yadarak and Yadayan, held council to judge the choices of Yadabaq and Yahayah. They deemed that peace was needed and ordered Yadabaq to create something he treasures and give it to Yahayah. When she was first created by Gibil (Yadabaq) her name was called Pînígzu, meaning “This thing of life” or “It establishes righteousness”

Yahayah was to care for the creation of Yadabaq and as long as the creation lived then Yadabaq was not allowed to attack Yahayah and if he did he would be imprisoned in Qur. Yadabaq agreed to the terms and forged an intersex (hermaphrodite) mortal of strength and beauty, a daughter who was not a daughter. However, since he knew the terms he created a mortal so that her time would be one hundred and twenty mortal years compared to the 33,360 mortal years a Meltsar would live. Thus, allowing him to wage war in what would be the blink of an eye to him.

Yahayah took her in but his way of protecting her was to shelter her away from the world. Locking her in a garden on Earth guarded by his grandson Hayalal. She spent her formative years for over five years in the garden with very rare interactions with others. However, one day as she explored her garden prison she came across a random storage jar in the edges of the garden. Above it was a large crack in the sky. Her curious nature took over and she decided to open it.

From that storage jar emerged sorrow, disease, madness, khashak, and much more, leaving only hope left inside. The auras that emerged altered her own DNA and made her a superior mortal. When Yahayah came to visit her he saw the khashak and sensed the chaos that had been unleashed on his paradise he created for her. He cast her out of the garden and prepared to smite her before The Maalik arrived with The Gifter and The Decider to stop him.

The rest of the primordial beings would arrive shortly after, including Yadabaq. Yahayah claimed he would eradicate the khashak and the girl to keep his realm pure. The result of the argument was that Yadabaq would become the master and caretaker of the Khashak and take them some place else. The Maalik offered to take Fandorah into his realm, an offer she accepted.

Governess of Guidance

When Fandorah was taken to Kur, she was adopted by The Maalik as his daughter and given the realm of Shyakh to govern. During her time in Kur she was given her freedom and felt refreshed and joy for once in her life. Even though she was mortal she became immortal since Kur does not follow the laws of time and thus she could not age as long as she dwelled there for all her days.

She was ordained as The Guider and was authorized to teach and guide those who were assigned to her realm to help them find their path to peace or punishment.

She went by many names over the centuries, the first was Tadmuštum to the Sumerians and Dadamušda to the Mespotamians. However, by the Greeks her legend as Pandora was known along with her name of Macaria, The Blessed One.

The Princess of Qur

In the days when the realm of Qur first appeared to the divine; the king, Kur, would adopt Fandorah and name her Enathu. However, the mortals would come to know her as Tadmuštum and Dadamušda. She was seen as a goddess associated with the underworld and was regarded as the daughter of Nergal. To the Akkadians she was known as “the humbler”, and later she would be known as “the abolisher”, “the destroyer”, and “the hider”.

To the Egyptians she was known as Neith (also spelled Nit and Nrt), meaning “She is the terrifying one”. She was seen as the goddess of the cosmos, fate, wisdom, water, rivers, mothers, childbirth, hunting, weaving, and war. She was said to be the first and the prime creator, who created the universe and all it contains, and that she governs how it functions; and is claimed to be the inventor of birth.

As the Phoenicians climbed their way to power they would look to her as Ānat (also written as Ḫanat and Anat), goddess of warfare and hunting. She has been called maiden, virgin (not virginity), young girl, nubile, and adolescent for her youthful appearance. During this time she was allied with Baāl as his staunch follower, though it was due to a spell she was placed under.

She assisted him during his struggle for kingship, and helps him with obtaining the permission to obtain a dwelling of his own, and finally mourns and avenges his death at the hands of the personified death, Mūt. It was believed that the spell Baāl placed her under was because he wanted her as his lover and took her from the underworld into the overworld.

During the days of the Greeks, they would venerate her as Pāndōron (also spelled Pandora) for her history and as Athēnâ (also spelled Athena) for her present. The Romans would call her venerated past as Anesidora and her present as Minverva. However, to those who whorship Hā́idēs she was known as Makaria (also spelled Macaria) and Angerona. She was seen as blessed death instead of misery or damnation.

As Athena she was the Greek goddess associated with wisdom, warfare, and handicraft. She was regarded as the patron and protectress of various cities across Greece, particularly the city of Athens. As a god from a previous generation, she shows a lot of respect for Hā́idēs, and despite being a goddess with argumentative abilities, not even she is able to convince him to change his mind when he puts something into as she would say “his thick head”. Her major symbols included owls, olive trees, snakes, and the Gorgoneion.

The Slavic and Celtic people called her Gamayun and Badb (also written as Badb Catha). Her Gamayun form was a prophetic bird of folklore. She was a symbol of wisdom and knowledge and lived on an island in the mythical east, close to paradise. She was said to spread divine messages and prophecies, as she knows everything of all creation, gods, heroes, and man.

Her Badb form was one that took the form of a crow, and is thus sometimes known as Badb Catha (“battle crow”). She is known to cause fear and confusion among soldiers to move the tide of battle to her favored side. Badb may also appear prior to a battle to foreshadow the extent of the carnage to come, or to predict the death of a notable person.

During the last kingdom of the Norse she would be called Gefjon and Glöð (also written as Glod). As Gefjon she was a goddess associated with ploughing, foreknowledge, her oxen children, and virginity. As Glöð she was known as the daughter of the fire giant Surtr. With her name meaning “glowing embers.”
