History of Bernado Atzlut
Guardian Reef Gremlin
Bernado Atzlut was born after the collapse of the Chronoverse in the universe of Zetalon. He is the second born child of Maria Atzlut by Antoni Atzlut. He is the younger brother of Franchesca and a member of Bayt Atzlut’s eighth generation. He is a Guardian Reef Gremlin, attending the feeder school for Nexus High, called Guardian Reef Academy on the planet of Gogyou
Bernado is a whirlwind of energy. Unlike his older sister Franchesca, who possessed a quiet affinity for the ocean, Bernado is a ball of sunshine personified. Guardian Reef Academy, his school, was his playground. He was a natural in the water, a fearless little fish darting between the pools and tanks, befriending the starfish and chasing after the damselfish.
None of the other kids knew Bernado’s secret – that he, like Franchesca, was a descendant of the sea gods. Their parents kept their heritage under wraps, wanting them to have a normal childhood. But for Bernado, the ocean wasn’t just a source of fun; it was a deep, mysterious connection he couldn’t quite explain. He dreamt of fantastical creatures, spoke in surprisingly fluent “whale speak”, and had an uncanny knack for calming even the most agitated fish in the tank
The Uncovering
One day, while exploring the tide pools with Franchesca, Bernado stumbled upon a magnificent sight – a tiny, iridescent seahorse clinging to a piece of coral. It was unlike any seahorse they’d ever seen, its scales shimmering with an otherworldly glow. As Bernado reached out, the seahorse pulsed with light, and a tingling sensation shot up his arm.
Suddenly, the world seemed to distort around him. The familiar scent of saltwater was replaced with a crisp, clean freshness. He was underwater, but not in the shallows. He was surrounded by coral reefs teeming with life, sunlight filtering through the crystal-clear water.
The ocean was changing, and Bernado, with his unique connection, would play a vital role. He would be the ocean’s voice, understanding its creatures and advocating for their well-being.
