History of Yaphaqad

The Land of Beriah

Yaphaqad or “She Who Attends” or “She Who Appoints” was formed in the time of Creation on Beriah. Yadabaq had to leave the darkness who he loved and formed the dragons from. During his time of regret he decided he no longer wished to be alone and formed Yaphaqad from his rib as his soulmate wife. She lived during a time of immense creation, trial, and error by the primordial beings that her and her fellow first creations were wed to.

From her emergence love and belief were born along with resurrection. However, by Yadabaq, she would go on to mother awakening, slaughter, rebirth and sadness. This was in complement to her husbands alignment and focus as a primordial, making her a true helpmate to him.

She was there during the times of creation, during the times of the Meltsar, during the times of the first hermaphrodite huemans, and more, all the way until right before the Great Exile. Even though she was his helpmate she didn’t bare children to him right away. His firstborn was birthed by his niece Naāmah baYahayah. Then his first daughter was born to him by Yaphaqad.

She understood that he deeply loved her but that he was an experimenter and would go on to have children by others. She remained loyal to him because regardless to what children he fathered he always prioritized his son Raphael by Naāmah and his daughters by her. However, she would be tragically murdered by the leader of the Jedim Republic, Suez.

The Great Wars

The Great Wars were a period in the era of the Meltsar where Yahayah and Yadabaq could not come to agreement on anything that occurred. The Meltsar species were supposed to be guardians of the land and earth that was created. However, each primordial had their own Meltsar creations that were given free will. However, Yadabaq still had his dragons that were loyal to him and they lived as the kings of the beasts.

This created conflict between the two brothers as they had different views on how the world should operate but Yadabaq’s power and authority continued to grow each day. Yaphaqad as the head of the Bayt Leubh that was growing in power supported her husbands efforts in battle with their daughter Galah leading the armies of Bayt Leubh into battle.

During those battles and wars, Yahauah baYahayah, betrayed his own father to join Yadabaq. This angered Yahayah and caused a rampage. Thus, forcing Yadayan’s hand and making him join Yadabaq and Yahauah to form the first Triumvirate to fight the oppressive control of Yahayah.

The Mother of Love

During her early days in the realm of Šamym she would take on the name Leubh. She is the personification of love and belief. She is the counterpart of Gleubh, personification of to tear apart or to cleave. She is also called Ninirigal and Ninirigala depending on the region of worship. She was called the Mother of Kullaba, which is also called Uruk.

During the days of the Mesopotamians she would be called Ninirigal. She was a goddess associated with Kullaba, a district belonging to the city of Uruk. Her character is poorly known beyond her role as a tutelary goddess of this area. Her husband was a god known under the name Nunbaranna, most likely an epithet of the fire god Gibil. Ninirigal can be translated as “Lady of the Great Court.”

The Egyptians revered her as Sekhmet (also written as Sachmis), a lion-headed warrior goddess. She was also a goddess of medicine. Sekhmet was a solar deity, sometimes given the epithet ‘the eye of Ra’. Sekhmet was the Egyptian goddess of war and destruction. She was bloodthirsty, out of control, and the Egyptians thought she represented natural disasters. Her husband, Ptah, and her sukkal, Nefertem were closely worshipped. Sekhmet was known as the lady of life, and the lady of terror.

By the Greeks she was known as Hēdonē, goddess of pleasure, enjoyment, and delight. Her opposites were the Algea, personifications of pain. By the Romans, she was called Voluptas. Hedone is personified as a goddess of pleasure, enjoyment, and delight. She was associated more specifically with sensual pleasure. Her opposites were the Algea, personifications of pain.

The Slavic and Celtic peoples called her Živa (also spelled Siwa) and Áine. As Živa, she was a mother goddess of one of the tribes belonging to the Obodritic confederation of the Polabian Slavs. As Áine she was, an Irish goddess of summer, wealth, and sovereignty. She was associated with midsummer and the sun, and is sometimes represented by a red mare. As the goddess associated with fertility, she has command over crops and animals and is also associated with agriculture.

The last empire, the Norse, called her Lofn. She was a Norse goddess called The Comforter, described as gentle in manner and as an arranger of marriages, even when they have been forbidden. She was also called “the mild” and “loving”.

Before the Great Exile, she would take on the name of Amonah and Ahabah. She was the personification of love and the matriarch of Bayt Leubh. However, she was killed by the Jedim Church. Arcane Shadow was able to revive her in the Taalumah universe but she choose to sacrifice herself for their daughter Tristia. She lives on in the heart and soul of Tristia but no longer exists outside of her.

The Betrayal of Family

Before the birth of the Chronoverse, the primordial beings dwelt in the the Shomer portion of the timeline. Yadabaq as Gleubh and Yaphaqad as Leubh tried to live in as much peace as possible with their children. After the first Triumvirate war, Yadabaq chose to abstain from battle but still was the patron primordial of the Sithrim.

His influence still concerned Yahayah and the Jedim Republic members. Suez who was the commander of the Jedim Republic plotted to remove Yadabaq from the equation completely. He sent soldiers to the home of Yadabaq when he was gone and they murdered Leubh, and three of his four daughters. Luckily his youngest daughter, Tristia, was still a baby and with her brother Raphael.

When both Gleubh and Raphael with Tristia returned, Gleubh ordered his son to protect his sister and to run away. Gleubh went to his granddaughter Amar Leubh and sent her into hiding in the emerging Chronoverse with the Bayt Leubh to keep her safe. After they were gone, Gleubh was enraged and started an all out war that would result in the need of the Great Exile. It was a period of prosperity for the Sithrim but would result in Gleubh being killed and forced to reincarnate, which was a plot that his own soldier, Arcane Kraits, put into place.
