History of Victoria Gresham
The Viper of the Seven Seas
Victoria Gresham was born in the Transylvania universe after the emergence of the Chronoverses. She is the great granddaughter of Captain Butcher. She commands the The Howling Death and lost The Ghostly Kraken to the Chronoverse collapsing. She gained her name because the venom of vipers was her most used tool. In Zetalon she has a sword that actually releases viper venom on the blade with the push of a button so she doesn’t have to soak her weapons anymore.
Her great grandfather, Captain Butcher, outlawed the search for the Seven Treasures of the Seven Seas as one of his last acts as Pirate King before his death. This remained the state of the seafaring people until Captain Viper decided to break that edict as the new Pirate King when she began searching for Triton’s Tideblade in the hopes of commanding the seas as a god.
She never found it before the Chronoverse collapsed but received a riddle as a clue that was given to her by an eerie looking witch. The riddle said:
I am the treasure of legends, a blade of might,
In Neptūnus’s embrace, I’m hidden from sight.
Within his mother’s womb, the secret lies deep,
Protected by mysteries that sailors dare not keep.
To find me, seek the key to Ibzu’s Locker,
Unlocking the secrets with a daring shocker.
For in the depths where the ocean’s secrets play,
Triton’s Tideblade lies, awaiting the light of day.
Before she could explore that mysterious clue she was called to help Fergus Vandershine track down his missing wife and follow a lead he was given. They were then sucked into the new universe of Zetalon and had to return home to regroup and figure out what was going on.
The Hive
In the new universe, she would later be partnered with Mihaila Filipov to investigate a lead they received about The Hive having Fergus’ wife, Moira Hayes. However, they would be out of their element and captured by The Hive after going deep into the recesses of The Hive’s nest.
Once captured The Hive Queen would connect mind controlling devices to them and force them to work under her command as part of her hive. This gave her command of the Seven Seas and The Howling Death. However, with The Armory being distracted with the instability of their territory they had trouble trying to find her and Mihaila.
