All Hail the King
When Transylvania split off from Laniakea in 1871 AD, Valerian was 1252 years old. He had lived many years as a member of the nobility with his wife, Seraphina, under the rule of Queen Carmilla and King Dracula. However, when the split occurred their king and queen were not present and this left a power vacuum.
Vampires across the world began to build their armories to claim the throne. However, his wife’s cunning ability while he was preparing for a physical war convinced the vampire elders to hold a council vote to determine the King of Vampires. With much lobbying Seraphina was able to secure him the seat of king and herself the role of queen.
