History of Ullr Baldurson
The Patron Saint of Skiers
Ullr Baldurson was born on the Nibiru planet in the Shomer universe before the emergence of the Chronoverse. He is called “Glory” and is the son of Naāmah baYahayah and an unknown man. He is seen as the god of skiing and hunting in the anals of the Norse.
Besides being seen as the god of skiing and hunting, he is also seen as the god of snow, patron saint of skiers, the son of Sif and a stepson of Thor, the God of Thunder. Cold-loving, bow-wielding Ullr is said to be an expert skater, skier and hunter who would glide around the world and cover the land with snow.
The Fatherless
Ullur was considered fatherless. However, he was given the surname of Baldurson, meaning son of Baldur. With that said, Baldur never officially claimed Ullrr as his own son and so it was a name given to him by the whims of Sif herself.
Regardless, Thor took on the duty of caring for the boy as his own son and would raise him as his stepfather. This allowed him to become a member of the lineage of the throne of Odin.
