History of Trítōn Poseidonidas
The Third Generation of Sloth
Trítōn Poseidonidas was born before the Chronoverse collapsed and in universe Mātušarrūtu, which was before The Great Exile occurred. He is a third generation member of the Bayt Atzlut in the Dam Fandorah, and younger brother of Preguiza Atzlut. He is the Greek god of the sea, son of Poseidon and Amphitrite. He lived with his parents inside of the golden palace of Atlantis at the bottom of the sea.
He is generally represented as a merman, with the upper body of a hueman and the tailed lower body of a fish. During the era of the Romans they saw him as the God-King of the Mermen and his name became the generic term for their species. Also, he is a messenger or herald for Poseidon and would travel to and frow delivery his will.
As he got older he was gifted a conch shell that he would blow like a trumpet to calm or raise the waves. He was “trumpeter and bugler” to Oceanus and Poseidon. Its sound was so cacophonous that when loudly blown, it put the giants to flight, who imagined it to be the roar of a dark wild beast
The Great Exile
Due to him being a dweller among the Palace of Atlantis, when the Great Exile occurred he was pulled through to the universe of Atlantis. He would have to take on more of a leading role as the chaos needed to be calmed so people could figure out what was going on.
The Cerulean King was a force to be reckoned with when it came to times of forcing order in the universe of Atlantis. However, the land dwellers tried to claim authority over the sea since Poseidon was no long fit to place them into their rightful place. Thus, the people of Atlantis relied on Trítōn to return them to the role of sovereigns of the earth.
