History of Lylah
The Juniper
Lylah is a divine monster conceived by the Father and Mother of Darkness. When the end days came and the great revealing occured he and his twin sister, Ḫušar, would be born to the darkness in Zetalon universe but would go back in time before the emergence of the Chronoverse to do the will of their parents in the era of the Greeks and Romans.
Her name is also spelled as Laylah, Lilah, and Lila and means night and darkness in the language of Zetish. However, in the language of her people it is written as 𒇷𒆷, which means “balanced juniper”
When she was born she was the youngest, but when they went back in time she became the oldest of her family, as she and her brother lived at the beginning of the time of creation and remained in the darkness and the night until their time came during the age of the Greeks.
Nýx, Lady of the Night
During the era of the Greeks and Romans she was called Nýx (also spelled Nyx). Her name meant “night” during those days. She was the personification of darkness and carried herself as the daughter of Ananke and Kháos. She and her brother, Érebos, are the reason why mortals still knew of the stories about their parents.
It was said that they came before Aether (Light) and Hēmérā (Day) and would be there when they were no more. She is the mother of a brood of children which were personifications of primarily negative forces.
Her abode is considered at the ends of the Earth and is often described as a black-robed goddess who drives through the sky in a chariot pulled by horses. She is regarded as greater than all the gods together and even Zeus fears to displease her. The Romans would call him Nox.
