History of Keoni Ariki
Young Chief
Keoni Ariki was born on the planet of Adamah in Zetalon after the collapse of the Chronoverse. He is tenth in line of known chiefs predating the collapse of the Chronoverse. His grandfather was the first chief of their tribe in the universe of Zetalon. His father was supposed to become chief next but died in a battle between their village and a neighboring village.
From a young age Keoni was born with a gift that he didn’t understand at the time. By the age of five, he had already healed his first patient. Word of his abilities quickly spread throughout the village and the planet. Soon, people were coming from all over the planet to seek his healing touch.
Keoni had always been fascinated with the natural remedies and healing properties found in the flora and fauna of Adamah. His grandfather, an elder of the village, taught him everything he knew about herbal medicine and the power of touch. Keoni had a gift, an intuition for knowing exactly what a person needed to heal and recover.
However, before Keoni could come of age to take the full seat of chief his grandfather died from what appeared to be natural causes but was actually the bite of a pseudechis snake. After the death of the chief the boy would be elevated to the role of chief and a tribal member named Alom offered to mentor and support the boy in his growth as a chieftain.
Royal Son
Keoni and his village were visited by Rickshaw, Huntress, Faith Luscious, and Elin Blackburn. He had known he was from the bloodline of Yarakham but had never met any others like him so he believed he was the only one.
During their visit he recognized them and announced that Rickshaw, Faith, and Elin were all his relatives. This solidified his place as a member of the royal family and brought to Rickshaw’s attention that Elin was also not what they once believed but was a descendant of Tawana.
When the royals were under attack and moved to the Shadowlands he was also moved, which gave opportunity for Alom to take control over his village without him there. However, Keoni would later regain control over his village.
