History of Dougal Hughes
Pack Hughes
Dougal Hughes was born in the Transylvania universe after the emergence of the Chronoverses. He is a hueman from the Transylvania universe that was born as a werewolf to Logan Hughes and Maisie Blair. He is the older brother of Katrina Hughes and would become the Alpha for the Hughes Pack when they emerged in Zetalon after the collapse.
He was born as the heir to his father’s pack and had to live up to the high expectations. This even resulted in him being offered up to the vampires as a bargaining chip for a marriage with House Vandershine. A decision by the species Alpha that angered his mother, Maisie. Nonetheless, he was unwavering in his dedication to his father and would do whatever was asked of him for the good of their species.
Dougal is also the older brother of Katrina and even though he looks only one year older than her, he was born seventy years before her. He took his responsibilities as her older brother very seriously as he did with all things. This was something Katrina loved and hated all at the same time.
New Alpha
When Transylvania collapsed and merged with Zetalon he was left to organize his father’s pack members along with his sister. He choose to not take a Luna, against the advisement of the pack council. Instead, he decided to appoint his sister as the Luna in name and authority but not in physical responsibility.
He would move the pack to a new territory that they could better defend during the turmoil of the beginning years of Zetalon. Many of the pack members would try to offer him their daughters as the Luna but he rejected all of them. People began to speculate that he was interested in his sister.
However, the truth was he knew that if he took a legitimate Luna he would be expected to marry his sister off to someone else and he didn’t want to lose more people from his family and Katrina didn’t want to be married off to a random male.
