History of Aiko Watan
Social Capital
Aiko Watan was born after the collapse of the Chronoverse when the new universe of Zetalon was formed. She was raised as a Sithri and worshipper of the primordial Yadabaq. She gained the knowledge of magic and was an elite fighter as her father had planned. She was raised during a time when Arcane Tristia was alive and ruled over the Sithrim with Arcane Satar leading the day to day operations.
Her father was an ambitious man and prepared her in the arts of deception so she could one day wed one of the descendants of their primordial and bare him a grandson that had the blood of Yadabaq. At the age of seventeen she befriended Ken King aka Rickshaw under the direction of her father. However, as she got older she no longer wanted to do it for her father but genuinely loved being around him.
When she turned twenty two years old she confessed her feelings to him and he agreed to go on a date with her. They enjoyed their time on their date and entered into an official relationship. Rickshaw would propose to her after he joined the Mishtara and they began planning for a life together. Aiko and him would remain together until he fell into depression after one of his teammates died and left her at the alter.
When he left her at the alter her father felt his plans were ruined and didn’t care about her emotional wellbeing but focused on his lost grandson. Even though he left her she understood and still loves him to this day even though she is hurting still. However, seeing her father’s reaction she realized that she couldn’t trust him anymore. She began to rebuild her life and work towards her own goals. Thus, her plans to remove her father from power one day and take his seat started.
The Sithrim
Her father now leads the Sithrim which makes her heir apparent for the next to lead the group as she is the most trained and qualified. She pretends to be a spoiled princess in public to make people think she’s not capable but she is a true mastermind in war strategies.
However, she doesn’t always have the support of the Sithrim leadership because she has been very vocal about discontinuing the animosity between the Sithrim and the other factions, specifically the Jedim Church. She wishes to build bridges that would bring them all under the collaborative efforts for a better future.
Her views have made the Sithrim elders grateful that she didn’t marry Rickshaw because it would mean they would be forced to follow her will as their leader, while now they can try to train someone to defeat her in the trial for the throne.
Title of Arcane Vespera
Each Sithrim member selects their Arcane title. Aiko chose the name Vespera as her title. The name comes from Latin origins and means “Evening Star.” However, it may also draw from Hesperus, a Greek name belonging the mythological personification of Venus. With the combining of the Arcane prefix her full title is “Hidden Evening Star.”
