History of Wendy Lagunov
The Negotiator of Athenaeum
Wendy Lagunov was born in the Taalumah universe before the collapse of the Chronoverse. She was an orphan girl who was purchased as a slave at the age of eight. She was kicked out of her household as a slave at the age of sixteen and left to wander the streets of Bosnia.
She was found by Andre Karath of SCHILD and taken in to his care. He took her back to America where he experimented on her and infused her with the blood of The Black Dragon, Yadabaq. She gained unique abilities and became a sword for SCHILD to use against their enemies over the years.
She would later be paired with Agent Shadow aka Randy King, the man who’s blood ran through her, as his field partner. They both could shapeshift and portrayed siblings on most of their missions but both fell in love with one another. Wendy was one of the few people that the mad primordial truly loved. She later would bear him two children before he vanished from her and the children’s lives.
However, she kept the children’s presence from him. Before giving birth it was claimed that she was so powerful she could destroy the entire world. She once lost control when she thought her love, Randy King, was dead and decimated an entire city with her power. She lived a good life and would die by her own will with her love, Arcane Shadow, by her bedside.

After Wendy and Randy went their separate ways due to the acts of the Athenaeum’s leader, she found out she was pregnant with his children. She would take her children to an orphanage, hoping to hide them from Andre Lorenz and the Athenaeum. She feared they would be tested on if they were found and knew she could keep an eye on them nearby.
However, this resulted in her children growing up without parents and becoming excessively close since they share a telepathic bond with each other and can feel what each other feels, for better or for worse. They decided to become heroes in their own right in Japan, unintentionally following in the footsteps of their mother and father.
On Wendy’s deathbed she revealed to Randy that he had two children by her. Once he found out he tracked the children down and took them in without revealing his true identity to them. In 2004 AD, Randy brought them to the Shadowlands in Khashak and enrolled them in a private school.
