Jason Luscious was born on the planet of Vigilia in Zetalon after the collapse of the Chronoverse. He is a Time Walker who started at a young age. Born in Zetalon his interests mirrored the chaos of his reincarnations. His adventures were a whirlwind of calculated risks and impulsive detours, much to the exasperation of his companions. It was on a jaunt to a casino planet, glittering with neon and thrumming with anticipation, that he encountered his future wife, Gabriella.
The Gambler, thrived on high-stakes situations – brokering peace treaties between warring factions with a game of chance or rewriting history on a coin toss. Thrills were his currency, and the Doctor reveled in the unpredictable dance of fate. But even the most restless gambler craves a steady hand.
Gabriella navigated the timestream with an unwavering moral compass. Her arrival on one of The Gambler’s exploits wasn’t a meet-cute, but a clash. He was manipulating a timeline for profit, and she was there to set it right.
Their initial antagonism simmered, then sparked into a grudging respect. The Gambler, used to bending the rules, found himself intrigued by Gabriella’s unwavering adherence to them. He challenged her rigid code, she tempered his reckless spirit. Slowly, a grudging partnership blossomed, then an unexpected love.
The Mishtara
After traveling together and apart for many years later, they would reconnect and Gabriella would find out she was pregnant with The Gambler’s child. They would change their focus and Gabriella would form the Mishtara in order to protect the Chronoverse.
The Gambler would join her and become an investigator in the militaristic force. He popped in and out of his daughter’s life as he was growing up. This caused fights between the married couple and would ultimately end with them become estranged.
He would return one day and hear from his daughter, Faith, that her mother, Gabriella, had vanished and no one could find her. He felt like his world had crumbled. He gave his daughter one final hug and promised her he would bring her mother home. The Gambler then took off and vanished on a hunt to find his wife, Gabriella.
