History of Acedia Atzlut

The Second Generation of Sloth

Acedia Atzlut was born before the Chronoverse collapsed and in universe Šamym, which was before The Great Exile occurred. She is the second generation leader of the Bayt Atzlut in the Dam Fandorah. She was a leader during a time of war between the Sithrim and the Jedim. She caught Yanahar’s eye before the time of The Great Flood and became his soulmate wife, bearing him his only daughter by her, Preguiza.

She did not have to have her abilities tested before she could secure the throne. She was a fierce warrior during the battles of the Sithrim and Jedim. From that, Yanahar witnessed her beauty in battle and her mastery of the seas and fell in love. From there Yanahar would win her heart and he challenged Acedia’s father for her hand in marriage. Yanahar showed his prowess and Namlulu knew that his daughter’s skills mixed with Yanahar’s would create for a fruitful future for his clan.

Once her and Yanahar were married, she instituted a policy and practice for the family that would pit suitors against one another to prove their worthiness for the throne. But they could still be rejected by the heir of the throne. However, that practice was outlawed by Shivyon during the 5th generation reform.

When the Great Exile occurred she and her fellow Dam Fandorah members were locked away in Taalumah with Arcānus. They were specifically locked away in the underworld that had been crafted for that new universe but would be released one Arcānus regained his memories. They would aid him in governing the land and bringing on the apocalypse of their universe.

The Goddess of the Sea

Due to her marriage to Yanahar, she became known as the Queen of the Sea and Goddess of the Sea. Yanahar technically held the kingship of the earth and she by default became the queen of the earth in their days.

As Queen of the Sea she was gifted a trident of her own by Yadabaq to solidify her role of ruler of the earth and sea. She is most notably giving birth to Preguiza who would become the next Malkah of the Bayt Atzlut, but would also give birth to his son, Trítōn, who was a merman and would live in their palace at the bottom of the sea with his parents.

The Queen of the Sea

When the Greeks rose to the scene of power she would become known as Amphitrítē (also spelled Amphitrite), the goddess-queen of the sea, wife of Poseidôn, and eldest of the fifty Nereides. She was the female personification of the sea—the loud-moaning mother of fish, seals and dolphins. By the Romans she was known as Salacia.

The Celtic people referred to her as Penarddun, the wife of Llŷr. With her husband she would create three meltsars to serve them during that era. They were called Bran, Branwen, and Manawydan. The name Penarddun can be translated as “Chief Beauty” or “Most Fair”
