History of Pator Blacketer
A Son of Blacketer
Pator Blacketer was born in the Scottish lands of Blackadder in Berwickshire. His family claims they descend “from the lands of Blackadder on the stream of the same name in the Merse division of Berwickshire.” There has been many different spellings of his family’s name including Blackadder, Blackader, Blackater, Blacketter, Blaicketter, Blacader, Blackbiter, and many more.
His clan lost a battle and was offered up to vampire lord Masef de Matthecourt as a tribute by the victorious clan. Lord de Matthecourt accepted the offer and had the clan work in his estate as butlers and maid. Pator served him for eight years before Lord de Matthecourt decided to turn him into a vampire at the age of thirty and appointed him over the entire estate.
He loyally managed the affairs and business of his master with the public for centuries and lived a good life with them. The public image he helped his master craft was nothing like his true self but it was Sir Blacketer’s duty uphold that public perception so they would not catch on to his work with the Aeoliran Church as well as with the leaders of the different species.
After thirty forty years of serving Lord de Matthecourt, Pator Blacketer was tasked with retrieving Melanie Vandershine from her father, Baron Vandershine, for the price Lord de Matthecourt agreed to pay him. Little did either of them know, she would become a major part of the future of House de Matthecourt. Pator kept an eye on her as instructed by his lord and master and after four years she joined them as a vampire member of the house.
He continued to serve under Lord de Matthecourt until the man’s untimely murder by huemans who were afraid of the world ending. Madame Mel would then take command of the House de Matthecourt and he would continue to serve under her and her two siblings. He had to hire a special team to keep an eye on and clean up after Olga Vandershine with her sporadic tantrums.
Conquering Bidqar
He was 1675 years old when the multiverse system known as the Chronoverse collapsed and was merged into the one universe known as Zetalon. He, the castle, and the other members of the House de Matthecourt landed on the planet Voluptas. When they arrived Sir Blackbiter was logical and made sure to keep their lord and ladies safe while things settled from the chaos.
When Madame Mel decided to finally capitalize on the corruption of the Voluptas planet as part of her network of power he was there to execute her requests. As she took control over the planet of Voluptas’ aristocrats and placed Damien Leblanc in a position of power over the pleasure district he became known as Madame Mel’s Knight.
In her Armory he became her most agile piece that she could play and was one of four knights that she had in play at all times. He helped her protect the workers of the pleasure district but also kept the aristocrats in line and the Necros.
Pator Blackbiter is in his last days as his hueman equivalent age is sixty two but wishes to keep Madame Mel’s vision alive until she reaches her end goal.
