History of Leilani Sandoval
Youth as a District Girl
Leilani Sandoval was born on the planet of Voluptas in Zetalon after the collapse of the Chronoverse. The only life she knew was that of the Pleasure District. When she was five years old she was kidnapped and sold to the Pleasure District and taken in by Damien Leblanc’s people. She was raised by them and did cleaning around the brothel houses and dorms like the other girls who were ten years old and younger.
However, when she turned eleven years old they began to have her participate in the full services of a District Girl for the Pleasure District’s clients. She hated what she had to do but she knew it was the best way to survive and turned off her emotions towards it. Over the years she bonded with two other girls, Elin Blackburn and Matilda Beck, three of them became sisters with one another.
After turning eighteen years old she made a deal with Misthara officers, Rickshaw and Huntress. In exchange for their testimony and help they would be taken to safety. Rickshaw and Huntress brought them to Rickshaw’s cousin at the Athenaeum where they were protected while the raids of Voluptas occurred and the time after. She grew a one-sided romantic interest in Rickshaw and one day hoped to become his girlfriend, wife, and mother of his children, even though she was thirty eight years younger than him and he had shown no romantic interest in her.
Rickshaw was childfree by choice but took on an important role in the girls’ lives once they were rescued by him and Huntress. Each girl viewed him different. Matilda viewed him as a father figure, Leilani viewed him as a romantic interest she had a crush on, and Elin saw him as a cool uncle she could go to when she needed someone to talk to or hang out with.
Internal Affairs Academy
After moving to Elam and living with Stacy Tao, Leilani began to work around the Athenaeum and became an employee of the organization. She would help around the house to take care of her younger sisters.
When she wasn’t doing her normal duties she would attend classes and studied as part of the Internal Affairs Academy so she could become a member of Intelligence like Rickshaw. She wanted to help others like he had did for her and her sisters and fight corruption.
However, after the revelation of Elin being a descendant of the primordial beings and the royals needing to be taken to the Shadowlands she uprooted her life to go with both of her sisters to their new home. She still continues her studies and trains with Rickshaw so she can reach her goal.
