History of Taís Bernardino
House Teixeira
Taís Bernardino was born in the Laniakea universe before the collapse of the Chronoverse. She is the younger cousin of Vitorino Teixeira, head of House Teixeira. Growing up when the opportunity was presented to House Teixeira and House Bernardino by Carmilla to join her as vampires, she jumped at the chance unlike other members of her family who rejected it.
Those from her family who rejected the offer of The Mother of Vampires, Carmilla, to become vampires were seen as her enemies. Taís first act as a vampire to show her loyalty to Carmilla and House Teixeira was to murder all of House Bernardino that refused the offer so only those who were loyal would survive. This was a hard task for Taís and she tried to please with her parents to at least change their minds and convince the rest of the family to but they rejected the request.
After Taís became a vampire she was known for her underground boxing and would become an enforcer for House Teixeira. However, the time she lost a fight that she hasn’t gotten over was when she lost to Olga, someone who was green compared to her yet took her and two of her men on.
The Hive
Before the collapse of the Transylvania universe, Taís and her younger cousin, Eugénia, were left as the only surviving members of House Teixeira. When King Valerian died in the war, House Teixeira still fought against the ideal of Lady Mel serving as Queen of the vampires, as a non-Elder vampire.
Due to their constant resistance, Lady Mel ordered members of The Armory to slaughter their house to send a message to all who would challenge them. Taís and Eugénia were able to escape and survive the attack.
They would later be recruited by the Queen of The Hive and join the efforts of the secret organization. They worked with members of The Hive and the surviving members of House Nunes to kidnap Moira Hayes, wife of Fergus Vandershine.
