History of Cephas Hayes
The Marquess
Cephas Hayes was born on the planet of Earth-3.13 in Transylvania before the collapse of the Chronoverse. He grew up in the lands of Scotland as the child of a Duke and Duchess. As a young child he was very adorable to the eyes of all the women and when he hit puberty they saw how attractive he was going to be. For a time he entertained the women who would flirt with him, but when his sister turned eleven and he turned seventeen he began to fall in love with her.
He began participating in the Crown’s guard at sixteen and as he told his sister his stories and showed her his new scars she became infatuated with him too. Over time his nickname turned from Scotland’s eligible bachelor to Scotland’s sister-lover. Both Duke and Duchess Hayes confronted their children but they kept denying it and saying people were making up the stories about them having a romantic relationship.
The gossip finally became so much that the Duke decided it was time to arrange a marriage for his son so he could silence the rumors. He decided to agree to Baron Vandershine’s proposal for their children to wed. However, they never made it to the wedding day due to Cephas’ sister, Adelina, catching Melanie with Mitchell. She told her family about what happened and they ended the marriage agreement.
The Duke
Several years after his engagement to Melanie Vandershine had ended he held a New Year’s party where Lord de Matthecourt brought his new wife to be shown to the region. However, only a couple of years before that his father died from sickness, it was later found that one of the chefs had been gradually poisoning him but the chef never remembered adding the poisonous ingredient.
After he took the seat of the Duke for his family he was faced with a new challenge which was the new reign of Lady Mel in the region. He would have to try to maintain order amongst the people while also meeting the needs and requests of House de Matthecourt.
